Welcome Friends!  I love traveling, learning and seeing new things – especially if it’s free.  I’m naturally drawn to historical locations and off-the-beaten-track kind of stuff.  I am a firm believer that you don’t have to fork out a bunch of cash to travel, or to have a good experience. I seek out free or cheap activities in all the cities I visit.  Living in Los Angeles is a perfect opportunity to have unique adventures because there is so much to do here and plenty more relatively close by.  I hope I can inspire you to get out and explore your own neighborhood.  Even though I love Southern California, I never turn down an opportunity to broaden my horizons, and I’m slowly chipping away at my goal to see the world.

  1. Hi Erin! I found your blog vis-a-viz the 2traveldads.com blog (vis-a-vis googling tips for traveling in Baja). My boyfriend and I are taking a trip down there at the end of December. I REALLY want to see whale sharks, but I would also like make sure I can find as eco-conscious an outfitter as possible. Your friend Paul seems reputable–is there a way I could get in touch with him? Please email me back if you have a moment.

Thanks SO much for your tips, I am getting really excited for our trip (and have already cautioned everyone that I might not be coming home, ha ha). This will be my 7th trip to Mexico, but first time to Baja. Hope all is well with you.

    1. Hi Emily, thanks for your comment! I just replied to another comment on the post with Paul’s contact info. He’s great, and super knowledgeable. I’m glad you found some info you liked, and I hope you enjoy your trip! Let me know if you have any other questions. 🙂
